Before you look to obtain planning consent / building regs approval for your project, it is important to understand the key factor which will drive your decision to proceed with your project or not.

Because the last thing anyone wants, is to spend £000’s obtaining approval to build a project which turns out to be un-affordable or un-deliverable. In terms of moving your project forwards to the next step, the right approach for you will depend upon whether your project is cost driven or not.

As the key factor which drives your decision to proceed with this project rests upon whether it will be affordable, we recommend that you engage with us early, for us to work with you to provide a project feasibility check. This will include a design survey of your property, a design brief meeting with our Architectural Technologist to capture your requirements. We will produce an outline set of drawings / proposals and a budget cost proposal for your consideration which will enable you to ensure that your project is deliverable, prior to making the commitment to obtain planning and building regs approval.

We have a simple 2 tier fixed rate cost for this service which is based purely upon your budget for your scheme:-

£1,500. For any project with a budget between £150,000—£500,000
£2,000. For any project with a budget between £500,000—£1,500,000

Should you appoint us to deliver your project, this cost would be fully refunded.
