About This Project
Unicorn Construction were appointed to undertake the extension and complete refurbishment of this mid terraced 3 storey victorian house in the centre of Exeter.
Our works included the construction of a single storey kitchen/ dining room extension to the rear. Replacement of the windows and doors, to include double glazed sash windows to the front elevation & aluminium bi-folding door from the dining room.
Our works were completed to include underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, complete replacement of all electrical and plumbing services throughout to include 3 bathroom fit outs and the kitchen and utility.
Engineered parquet flooring was fitted throughout the ground floor with the existing spruce floorboards throughout the first and second floors lifted, stripped and sanded before being relayed with a light oil finish. Insulated wall linings were introduced to the front and rear elevation walls to improve this old buildings thermal performance. The plaster was removed.
