Unicorn Construction are seeking a Site Carpenter.
Responsible for completing all aspects of 1st & second fix carpentry including kitchen fitting,staircases, formwork and all aspects of timber framing including Cut & Trussed roof structures, with ability to read and work from Architects working drawings.
You will report directly to our sites Working Foremen and you will be supported not only by the Working Foreman, but also by our Project Support Administrator, our Design Manager and commercially by our Senior Quantity Surveyor.
The ideal candidate will live within a 25 mile radius of our Newton Abbot office hub. You must have a driving license and can expect to be delivering projects within a 45 minutes drive from our office hub.
We are seeking an individual with extensive Carpentry experience of all aspects of the trade. Capable, willing and able to push the job forwards. You must be experienced at managing a small team, with good planning / organisation and communication skills to get the best out of the team. You must be keen to lead by example.
Being able to work efficiently, in accordance with challenging programmes but accurately, being key to the skills needed to be successful in this role.
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
You must be commercially aware, hard working, work well under pressure whilst ensuring a good eye for detail in the work that you produce, be self motivated and organized.
